A large single-room pub with a lovely enclosed patio garden at the rear. Reopened August 2020. Beers are usually a mix of National CAMRA award winners and local ales, with Greene King Old Golden Hen a regular, and real cider also available. Unusually the pub stocks a wide range of bottled beers from the UK, in addition to Belgian, plus an extensive range of wines and whiskies. Cocktails also feature, particularly at weekends. A wide range of quality home made food and snacks is served, with booking advisable for Sunday lunch.
