Secluded Dutch-gabled pub which claims to be the oldest in Norwich (parts date from 1249). The tiny low-ceilinged oak-beamed bar is supplemented by a snug, and a separate bar usually reserved for parties. Great value lunches can be eaten inside or at patio tables overlooking the car park, which extends to the river and gives access to the Jarrold pedestrian bridge.
