A stone's throw from the beach, the 'Welly' is an interesting building with one long bar. There's a good selection of pub games and widescreen TV for live sports, en suite rooms, and a recent addition, the Courtyard restaurant serving locally sourced food at good prices in a converted stable block. The house beer is from Wolf Brewery with changing beers on handpump from Adnams and Woodforde's. Owner by the same family for over twenty years.
