This former coaching inn, on the steep street rising from the quayside, has three public areas: the bar, the conservatory and the Long Room, plus a pleasant sun-trap patio garden. Although the pub is very food-focused, four ales are usually available from Adnams, who purchased the pub in 2012 and completed a major refurb in 2015. An a la carte menu is available, plus snacks at lunchtime.
