Plough

Popular pub in one of the city's oldest and trendiest areas near the Norwich Arts Centre. Taken over by Grain Brewery in 2010 and completely refurbished, it is now a stylish brewery tap, offering four or five of the brewery's ales at all times, with the occasional guest (including fleeting appearances from Tindall's!). The two-bar split-level interior is fairly small, with wooden chairs and tables, and a roaring log fire in winter. The large Mediterranean-style courtyard garden is a fine place to while away an afternoon or evening. Excellent cocktails and spirits are also available, along with Vicky's special sausage pie, and barbecues in summer.
