Three Horseshoes

Built in 1565, a former coaching inn, this roadside pub serves excellent beer and food in a comfortable bar and separate restaurant. Closed for a while in 2019 but reopened after a refurbishment in August 2019 with a huge new landscaped garden offering three different areas. Ingredients are all sourced locally, and there's a happy hour Monday to Saturday from 3-6pm. Two or three local ales available, from Woodforde's and Moon Gazer primarily.
