Holkham is arguably the jewel of the North Norfolk Coast. The Victoria adds significantly to that attraction. Here visitors complete with muddy boots and dogs are made very welcome. They will find a bar that nestles within the hotel complex, with a great ambiance and faultless service.
Located on the main coast road, at the entrance to Holkham Hall, the early-Victorian building consists of a bar and seating area, and a small snug with a dartboard, decorated with old sherry barrels and hunting prints, plus a large restaurant with views across the road to the distant beach.
There are also twenty luxurious en-suite bedrooms, ten in the building itself, and ten in the Ancient House, immediately across the drive.
Outside there's a courtyard with several large tables, a patio garden to the west of the building outside the restaurant, a large car park and a children's play area.
Four ales are served from the bigger breweries such as Adnams and Woodforde's, and food is served all day, with a 'quick turnaround' 15-minute menu outside mealtimes.
