Gallery Bistro

Situated in the town centre and originally called The Red Lion in the 17C, the building was reconverted to a pub/bistro in 2000 after 30 years being used as council offices. The bistro features a modern interior and cafe style seating outside. Large-screen TV attracts sports fans and there is occasional live music. The bistro is popular with lunchtime drinkers and younger drinkers at the weekend, but caters for all. The Bistro offers a well-kept regularly changing guest beer.
