Former country inn, now a top pub/restaurant with with an excellent reputation for the standard of its food with several signature dishes to savour. The owner is a Michelin starred chef and its honours include the Best Gastro-Pub in the UK 2010/11 in the National Restaurant Awards, and AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales. Named best restaurant in Wales at the 2012 & 2013 National Restaurant Awards, ranked among the Top 50 Gastropubs in Britain by the Morning Advertiser, and most recently (Jan 2019) the only Welsh pub ranked among the top 50 in the Estrella Damm listing.
