Queen Victoria

Opening hours

Built in 1837, at the start of Queen Victoria's reign - hence the name - a small flight of steps gives entry to a corridor displaying local tourist information. The corridor leads to a recently extended traditional public bar on the left which is plainly furnished with a small fireplace, above which are pictures of local rugby teams. Off to the left is another room useful for meetings or functions. It's now within walking distance of the southern terminus (Blaenavon High Level) of the Pontypool & Blaenavon heritage railway.
