Basic backstreet corner boozer, very close to the city centre, that went through a spell as an end of week venue (Friends Lounge) before closing for a while, then reopening as a restaurant. February 2016 saw it revert to a pub, with its original name. Whether it can recapture its old trade remains to be seen. Currently (Nov 2021) for sale.
