17th century village inn, a haunt of local golfers, with a traditional bar and cosy dining room. Excellent food from a menu which includes tempting fish dishes. Visitors may be interested in the 318 feet high Norman mound behind the pub which is called 'the Brake', and one of several such mounds in the general area.
