A homely sports club nicknamed the "Fugies" that has a genuine community focus. The comfortable L-shaped main bar features plenty of sporting memorabilia, team photos, a trophy cabinet and a large TV focusing on sport. There is also a function room with its own bar that hosts Newport Folk Club on Thursday evenings. The car park is at the back of the club and is approached via a convoluted drive.
