An 18th century thatched pub near Pitsford reservoir. It was formerly a butchers shop and pub combined and was the training booth of British Boxing Champion Peddler Palmer in the late 1800s. It is now a three-roomed pub, with drinking areas either side of the main bar and a separate room to the rear. White- painted stone and thatched country local with discrete classic vehicle memorabilia, cosy bar can occasionally be populated with Saints rugby supporters.
