Friendly pub which has two main drinking areas with carpeting to the front and wooden floors to the rear. Always a good selection of beers on from established microbreweries. The owner has a number of other CAMRA award-winning pubs and knows his beers, putting on a beer festival every May bank holiday. Wednesday night is a Blues night, with the pub full to the rafters to see bands from all over the country. The pub is also extremely busy when the local rugby team is featured on the screens. Several times winner of the local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year and East Midlands Regional Pub as well. Not to be missed.
