Built on the site of the old Judge's bakery on Mapperley Top in 2007, the conversion retains the old bakery ovens in a wall in a back room. There is plenty of memorabilia adorning the walls from closed breweries, especially local ones and framed awards. Supervised children are allowed until 9pm and there is a Monday mum's and babies morning. The single bar in the entrance room boasts 12 handpumps with Castle Rock, guest beers and a cider. There is also an extensive foreign and craft bottled beer list. Home cooked food varies frequently so look for the specials board. The chef's speciality is Caribbean Chicken from a secret family recipe. A curry/quiz night is held Mondays. Dogs welcome in main bar area only. Vinyl records night once a month.
