A spacious Lloyds No 1 bar not far from the town centre. It gets busy at weekends, with music after 6pm, and a DJ after 9pm on Friday and Saturday when an entry charge applies. Three regular cask ales and three rotating guests are usually available, plus 2 real ciders. The usual range of excellent value Wetherspoon meals are served until 11pm every day.
