A spacious pub situated not far from the town centre. Gets busy, especially at weekends, but still possible to find a quiet corner. The full range of excellent value Wetherspoons meals is served until 11pm every day, with a separate family dining area. Up to six real ales are available, plus two real ciders. Winner of numerous local branch CAMRA pub of the season awards. Regular "Meet The Brewer" events are held.
