Genuine free house in a pleasant country village with traditional beams and a log fire for cold winter nights. Extensively refurbished in early 2016 to bring the pub to a high standard. A central servery divides the bar and restaurant areas of the pub. The well-kept ales are served alongside a good range of home-cooked food. The outside drinking area is served through the pub window and overlooks the village cricket pitch for those who like the sound of leather on willow as they drink.
