Salutation

Opening hours

Recorded as a pub as early as 1675 in the Nottingham Sessions Roll, the Salutation is a white-washed, rendered building with black window surrounds, doors and fascias. This is very much a community pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Popular at lunchtimes for its food menu. A central serving bar divides the open plan layout into two, one of which is laid out for diners. There is also a separate dining area to the left on a higher level. Sympathetically refurbished in 2016, the pub has a fresh contemporary look yet retains many of its original features such as low timbered beams, panelling and fireplace. 20p off a pint of cask ale on Mondays.
