Air Hostess

Post-war building, occupying a corner position in the centre of the newer part of the village. The Air Hostess is a community owned pub having launched a share issue in 2019 to purchase the pub from Everards. Following a major refurbishment and associated remodelling of the whole site, the pub reopened its doors as a free house in mid 2020 (Highly Commended Refurbishment in CMRA's 2020 National Pub Design Awards. The interior is smartly furnished and carpeted; the lounge has panelled walls on one side and a light airy feel. There is a newly created extension of the lounge and a separate bar area for sports TV and Pool. The extensive beer garden has an outside bar servery and pizza kitchen on Fridays and Saturdays. The 'Tollerton Plough' play is performed here annually. The Air Hostess hosts a number of local interest groups on a weekly or monthly basis.
