Chestnut

Pleasant and popular, cask beer led village pub with a smart 1920s-style décor. Originally the Cliffe Inn, following a major refurbishment in 2006 it became The Horse Chestnut and in 2015 simply The Chestnut. Seven reasonably priced real ales are served including ever-changing guests, always including a local beer. Quality home-made food, ranging from stone baked pizzas through to classic British dishes, is served in a relaxed casual atmosphere.
