Situated in the older part of Sandiacre and opposite the old 1660 village lockup, for 'drunks and stray animals', this pub has recently been refurbished .Entry is into the bar, which uses dark wood, beams and the stove fire to good effect, creating a friendly and warm atmosphere. The rear of he pub offers seating away from the bar and a conservatory with a pool table. Three hand pulls are available, two regulars and one occasional guest. Cobs available 7 days a week. Beer garden and large car park to rear.
