Tipsy Toad

Run by the same people who run the Pele Tower in Corbridge the micropub opened on 7 November 2019 in a former fast food outlet with a large shop-front window after overcoming some local objections. Going by the opening night local drinkers have taken to the micropub in large numbers. The pub consists of two rooms that give a living room feel. Tables have images with Circus themes. Unisex toilets. Pie and mash is available Monday to Saturday along with traditional pub snacks. 5 local real ales on gravity and 9 ciders available. Gin and wine are also on offer.
