Briar Dene

Following a fire and extended closure this Fitzgerald's pub reopened late April 2017 after major refurbishment. Apart from the bar area it is semi-partitioned into a number of discrete areas, some of which are laid out for dining. The pub boasts an extensive fish and seafood menu. There is a small open terrace near the main entrance overlooking the car park. To the rear of the building there is a takeaway for fish and chips which is also open 0900-1100 daily for light snacks.
