Bridge Tavern

One of several Newcastle pubs opening recently with a microbrewery - The Bridge Tavern's 1bbl plant will brew both cask & keg products, some of which will be served directly from a tank rather than a standard cooperage vessel. Children welcome until 7pm. Food served daily until 9pm (Mon-Thurs) and 7pm (Fri-Sun), consists a range of both light bar snacks, lunches and full meals, all prepared and cooked by a professional chef. Various parts of the pub are available for private hire. The site has played host to an ale house for over 200 years, however the original building was demolished in 1925 and a new premises was rebuilt following the placing of the stanchions for Newcastle's most famous landmark - The Tyne Bridge.
