Quayside

Lloyds No 1 Bar situated on Newcastle's Quayside just West of the Swing Bridge, with the road on one side and a shared foot/cycle path on the other. The horseshoe shaped building surrounds a cobbled courtyard which is popular on warmer days, whilst on the river side is another smaller paved patio with more seating. A total of 6 handpulls offers a selection of ales, whilst ciders are from bag-in-the-boxes stored in the fridge. Typical JD Wetherspoon food menu with the usual club deals. The pub sometimes hosts special events to coincide with local happenings or ale festivals.
