Green Man

This thatched roof pub is much larger than it looks from the outside. There are lots of connected rooms off the main bar area with thick stone walls and exposed beams. The original fire place houses a log burning stove. There is a variety of seating from high tables and chairs to comfortable leather arm chairs with low tables. The regular beer is Greene King IPA. The two guest beers are selected from Abbott, Old Speckled Hen and Olde Trip. Food is available all day every day. Wednesdays are 'Curry House Club', Fridays are 'Steak Night' and Sundays are 'The Day of the Roast'. There is also an over 60's special menu. The function room can be booked for parties and the pub just charges per head for the buffet, no room hire charge.
