Re-modelling as a Wetherspoon hotel in 2016 included the provision of two outdoor seating areas, one of them non-smoking, as well as five internal areas. The bar is popular with all ages but not usually overcrowded, even on weekend evenings. The public can look into the kitchen and the varied menu specifies allergens and low calorie options.
