George Inn

This 200 year old listed building, standing at one corner of the old Market Square, was purchased by Vale and completely refurbished early 2015. The main bar is quite a large room with tables and chairs and a red leather curved bench seat in the bay window. There are usually 4 hand pumps serving 3 Vale beers and 1 guest. There is another room leading from the bar, also with red leather bench seating. Both rooms have a real fire. From the summer 2016 there is a beer shop with three cask ales available to purchase in two, four or six pint containers and American, Belgian and German bottled beers as well as Vale beers in bottle. There are plans to have a restaurant on the first floor in the near future
