Three Locks

Opening hours

Popular canal-side pub that supports local breweries.  Many of their real ales are local and there is one real cider.  The pub is particularly popular in summer with customers arriving by road and by narrowboat. The bar, with its six handpumps (always three in use, but sometimes more in busy periods), occupies about half of the long narrow building and the other half comprises the restaurant with open view to the kitchen where all meals are freshly prepared. The 2020 refurbishment gives a clean and fresh look, with exposed beams. There is plenty of outside seating along the side of the locks with more tables and chairs both on the large decking area to one side of the building and in the front, which now has 'Flexitent' covering. Boaters are welcomed, with good and quiet mooring just below the locks.
