Shoulder of Mutton

Opening hours

Parts date back to around 1468 and originally built to house the craftsmen building the extension to the adjacent St Nicholas Church. This is a classic village pub with a one room, low-beamed ceiling which, after changing hands many times over the years has been purchased and lovingly restored by a community group from the village. The old bar, removed by the previous owners, has been replaced by a purpose-built traditional bar. A regularly changing menu of real ales, many from local and smaller breweries, plus Saxby's ciders. Large garden with tables & benches at the side..
