Mainly a food oriented pub but with a strong community focus this pub has a bar area as well as seating for those who come to enjoy a meal. It has 'special offer' nights such as reduced prices for the over 50s on Mondays and the kitchen does a special 'Pie night' on a Tuesday. It is well used by local people as well as those who travel there for the food and beer. Sometimes they have live entertainment such as bands and stand up comedians.
