Racecourse

Please note that the Racecourse is currently (March 2017) closed and boarded. A notice on the pub is advertising for new tenants - apply to Samuel Smiths Brewery. Below is the information prior to this: Reopened on 12th November 2015 as a Sam Smiths pub. Very large pub with wonderful interior, worth a visit if you want to see what a pub used to look like. Built to serve the long demised Manchester Racecourse, hence the size of the bar. Unfortunately this pub no longer serves real ale.
