UK's first urban pub cooperative to be owned and run by its customers. Although in a small back street the pub looks like a Devon country inn. Inside it's no less welcoming. A tiny bar vault gives onto a lounge with attractive bay windows. A back room is mainly used as an over-spill, which happens often since the takeover by locals in 2009. Won Salford CAMRA branch ‘Neil Richardson’ award for a fine example of a traditional unspoilt pub in 2009.
