The Lower Turks Head was purchased by Joseph Holt in 2021 after a period of closure and reopened in July 2021. It had originally reopened in August 2013 after 22 years of initial closure. There are several small rooms on the ground floor as well as an upstairs drinking area that leads to a roof terrace. The pub sits in a terrace opposite Shudehill tram shop and is close to the Arndale shopping centre and Printworks entertainment and bar area.
