Wine shop and bar, recently opened in the former Age UK shop premises. It really is a wine bar with only a token handful of bottled beers and ciders but a score of different wines available by the glass and by the bottle. “Kelder” is the Afrikaans word for cellar and is a nod to the owner’s South African heritage, but the wines themselves are from all over the world. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed – almost soporific on a warm afternoon. There is a much wider choice of wines by the bottle in the shop part of the operation (and these are of course available to take out).
