This pub has been surprisingly quiet for a long time, despite its proximity to Trafford General Hospital and its huge number of staff and visitors. New managers in 2017 with small changes to the activties, regular food is on hold until the new managers settle in, phone ahead for confirmation. There is live music with bands plating every Saturday evening and an acoustic night Open Mic night on Fridays. Wednesday is a smartphone based quiz night, poker night on Thursday Children are welcome until 9pm Sunday-Friday and until 8pm on Saturdays. Highchairs and free colouring sheets are available. Well behaved dogs (on leads) are also welcome. Note on disabled access : enter through the Moorside Road car park and the east door; don't use the Brook Road side.
