A two-roomed recently refurbished corner-house dating from the 1830's with a modernised interior. A winner of many awards, the main feature being the20 handpump and24 font central bar. The 17 cask ales are sourced regionally with usually at least two dark beers on offer. The other three handpumps are for cider or perry; one from Thatchers plus two guests. There are also around 200 bottled Belgium beers available. Good value lunches are served Monday to Friday until 3pm.
