Northern Type

Micro Bar opened in December 2016 in former newsagent shop. Sells a range of locally brewed bottled beers, including bottle conditioned. There are also six craft beer lines selling one lager and up to five ales including at least one dark beer. Licensees are friendly and enthusiastic about the beers they sell. A radio plays music on the bar but this does not intrude on the friendly conversation that is welcomed among customers. There is usually a box of real cider and some bottles available. No cask ale.
