Dating from 1853 and has been a Holt’s pub since 1878 with a more recent inter-war mock-Tudor facade, this is a traditional local. There is a vault to the left and a larger Lounge to the right. Pub games are popular and both these rooms have Dartboards. There is a small and cosy snug behind the bar adorned with some interesting old photos of the local area. The pub mainly sells just the one beer, the ever-popular Bitter. However an occasional seasonal or other Holt beer can appear from time to time. Disabled access is via a ramp at the back.
