Dating back to 1851, The Woodthorpe was bought by Joseph Holt’s son; Sir Edward, in 1890 and was originally Edward Holt’s family home The pub is 'foody'. You can dine in the traditional bar area, or the luxurious Carvery and Function Room, which is available to hire for any occasion. Reopened 4/7/2020
