Chorlton Tap

Renamed the Chorlton Tap in December 2016 after over 20 years as The Bar - the first of Chorlton-cum-Hardy's modern cafe bars in the late 90s. Sister pub of The Knott in Castlefield and Macclesfield's The Macc. Like its siblings, the emphasis is real ale and good quality food. 6 handpumps adorn the bar which was remodelled in readiness for the name change. Blackboards above the pumps list the beers. House beers are from the group's own "Wander Beyond" Brewery. Guest beers sourced from local micros and larger micros from further afield such as Magic Rock and Salopian. There are 14 "craft" keg fonts, six of which feature Wander Beyond beers with changing guests. Large selection of bottles from around the world. The kitchen is currently hosting 'popup' Sunday roasts (usually with a Vegan option). Food also available Friday and Saturday To the rear is a beer garden open until 9pm in summer/good weather. Well behaved children are welcome until 8.30pm.
