Large bar & restaurant owned by the same people as central Manchester's A Place Called Common and Port Street Beer House.
There are five handpumps (one usually cider) on the bar serving an ever changing range of guest ales from the best microbreweries around with Magic Rock, Blackjack, Track and Torrside being regular features.
The bar has started regular 'caskovers' where one brewery takes over all the handpumps (real cider my not then be available) and has a quiz on 1st and 3rd Thursdays.
Behind the bar is a keg wall with 10 beers plus cider and prosecco on tap. House beer Beagle Pale is rebranded Summer Wine Pacer. There is also an extensive bottled/canned menu including craft beers from RedWillow, Kernel, Thornbridge and Beavertown alongside foreign beers.
Food is served until 10pm daily, lunchtime only at weekends where brunch is also served. Menu has a mostly Mexican slant with nachos, burritos, chillis, fried chicken and burgers. Regular specials
