Popular and comfortable side-street pub in the Market Town Taverns group that opened in 1999, having been converted from a former china shop. It has a music free bar area, a basement seating area and outdoor seating. The pub is renowned for the quality of its beer and food. The guest real ales feature a good, often eclectic, variety of beer styles and many are from Yorkshire breweries. A wide range of good foreign beer is offered. Home-cooked food is on the menu every day.
