RE-OPENED ON 12 APRIL 2021. OPENING TIMES UNDERSTOOD TO HAVE RETURNED TO NORMAL. Two-roomed traditional pub located next to the theatre and opposite the railway station. It comprises a traditional public bar with a games area, a very comfortable lounge and a centrally located serving area. Many fine prints adorn the walls. The number of real ales on offer increased at the start of 2019 and it now has 6 handpulls with one regular and up to five varying guest real ales all offered at competitive prices. In the lounge, the numerous TV screen often show the latest football matches and horse racing. Pool is free on Tuesdays.
