A small but lively single-room local's pub in the centre of the village that is accessed via a corridor off the main road. It has a traditional feel with tiled floors, a beamed ceiling, much woodwork and a coal fire. The stained glass windows to the rear are evidence of previous ownership by the Melbourne Brewery. Three TV screens show sport (or 70's & 80's music when there is no sport). Old photos of the village and local sports teams are displayed. A heated outside area at the rear is available for smokers. It is popular with locals, walkers and cyclists. Disabled access is possible via the back door.
