A PUB UNDER THREAT. A PLANNING APPLICATION (REF. 21/04079/MAF) HAS BEEN SUBMITTED AND VALIDATED BY CITY OF BRADFORD MDC ON 3 AUG 2021 TO DEMOLISH THE PUB AND BUILD A CARE HOME AND RETIREMENT ACCOMMODATION IN ITS PLACE. IT WAS STILL OPEN AND OPERATING A S A PUB WHEN VISITED ON 14 AUG 2021. Located on the edge of Burley-in-Wharfedale just off the A660, this modern family pub focuses on serving a wide range of dishes all day, seven days a week. There are numerous meal deals throughout the week such as burger and steak nights, the latter including a drink within the deal. A carvery is served daily. The regular real ales are from the Greene King range and the two guest ales are often from the Yorkshire area but can be from further afield. A Wacky Warehouse is available to keep children entertained and is available to hire for children's parties. The large car park and prime location means it is popular with passing trade and coach parties are accepted.
