Chequers Inn

Dating from the sixteenth century this family-run pub is a the heart of the village close to All Saints church. It is walker and dog friendly and handy for the Fairburn Ings RSPB reserve. The range of cask beers is mainly from Yorkshire breweries. Various low-beamed rooms lead off from the passageway with real fires and cosy alcoves. The walls are decorated with old photographs. In the garden is a marquee which is used for events in the summer months.
