Now brewery owned, but still a family run 17th century pub with a family friendly atmosphere, in a quiet village close to the A1. Wood floors, open fire and a friendly welcome. The dining area serves a selection of home-cooked food (not Monday except Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime). A base for the village cricket team and enthusiastic darts and dominoes teams.
